Since 1918, the Faculty of Music has developed Canada’s musical talent. Many of our country’s leading cultural organizations trace their roots to the Faculty, while our distinguished alumni, from soprano Measha Brueggergosman to composer Mychael Danna, are found in all facets of musical life. Our research focus is extensive and interdisciplinary, and we mount some 600 performances and public events per year — more than any other arts organization in the city.

As we enter our second century, we envision a new level of achievement – becoming a truly global leader in research, composition and performance. We will accomplish this through internationalizing our student body, strengthening our interdisciplinary research and impact, and undertaking essential upgrades to our infrastructure.

We hope you will join us in this ambitious vision for the future, rooted in championing arts, culture and higher education in Canada. With your generous support, we can rival the best programs in the world.
