The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) works with university stakeholders to establish and maintain partnerships with corporations and foundations. We provide the following support and resources:

  • Identifying, researching and developing strategies for CFR prospects
  • Aligning interests of corporations and foundations with U of T’s academic priorities
  • Assisting with proposal and letter of inquiry preparation as well as leading coordinated submissions
  • Monitoring corporate and foundation trends and activities to aid in strategic development
  • Developing and maintaining robust corporate and foundation recognition activities
  • Providing advice and support for sponsorship proposals and agreements in accordance to University Sponsorship Guidelines
  • Management of the University’s Affinity Program
  • Management of the University’s Corporate Matching Program
  • Working with the Innovations & Partnerships Office within the Research and Innovation Office to connect U of T’s advancement and research communities
