As one of the world’s leading public universities, U of T is determined that all students offered admission to a program be able to enter and complete it regardless of financial means.

UTSC shares this pledge with consideration for the economic challenges faced by many in our surrounding communities. In addition, a great many of our students are the first in their family to pursue post-secondary education and face similar constraints.

An expected surge in demand for post-secondary education in the coming years will challenge our resources but not our resolve. Support from alumni and friends of the University will becoming increasingly critical to our ability to fund both merit- and needs-based student financial awards, ensuring we continue to attract and nurture outstanding students from all backgrounds.
