Established in 1967 along the banks of the Credit River, U of T Mississauga’s original campus was modest: one building, 28 faculty members and 155 students. Today, we are U of T’s second largest division and a university in our own right with 13,500 undergraduate students, 600 graduate students, over 2,300 full- and part-time employees (including 915 permanent faculty and staff) as well as over 49,000 alumni.

Located in the heart of one of Canada’s most powerful metropolitan hubs, U of T Mississauga is a place where talent and ideas converge. We believe solutions to global challenges begin at home—and so, we promote innovation, inspire creativity and develop talent locally for the benefit of our region, our country and our world.

As always, we will keep the needs of our community in our sightlines, as we seek $60 million in private-sector funding to support our tireless pursuit of excellence.
